CurioTravel is an entertainment and educational app that helps you learn about cities through bite-sized stories, quizzes, and AI-generated content. It is not a travel-booking platform, a navigation tool, or a substitute for official local information. Do not rely on it for emergencies, medical advice, legal advice, or safety decisions in unfamiliar places.
CurioTravel mixes hand-curated content with AI-generated text. We work to keep things accurate and respectful, but AI can be wrong. Treat every fact as something to verify before you act on it (especially anything about local laws, customs, prices, opening hours, or routes). We are not liable for decisions you make based on information in the app.
If you share something from CurioTravel (a stamp, your passport stats, etc.) via the Share button, you grant the destination platform whatever permissions its own terms require — that's between you and them. You retain ownership of the underlying content you create.
The app, including its design, code, and prebuilt city content, is owned by the developer. AI-generated content for cities you search is produced automatically and is not owned by anyone in particular — you can screenshot it, share it, and quote it for personal use.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may also suspend or end the service if running it becomes impractical. We'll do our best to warn you before any change that affects your saved progress, but cannot guarantee perpetual availability.
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent allowed by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages.
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop providing the app to specific users who violate these terms, or to everyone if we shut the project down.
These terms are governed by the laws of the developer's country of residence. If you have a complaint, please email us first — we'd much rather fix things than involve courts.
